Solexia ® glass is a soothing, light-green tinted glass that is part of the nautically inspired collection by Vitro Glass. Trusted by architects since 1952, Solexia ® glass remains an industry standard for spectrally selective performance.
Architects have relied on green tinted glasses for decades to give buildings a distinctive look and to reduce heat gain and glare. Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG glass) offers a collection of green tints that can be paired with its exceptional range of advanced low-e and reflective coatings to offer architects more performance and aesthetic options than ever.
Green tinted glasses are available with Solarban ® solar control, low-e glasses or combined in an insulating glass unit (IGU) with passive low-e glasses to fulfill a wide range of performance demands. And can be laminated, tempered or heat-strengthened to satisfy increased strength or safety glazing requirements.
Vitro Architectural Glass is the first U.S. float glass manufacturer to have its products recognized by the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ program, and offers more C2C-certified architectural glasses than any other float glass manufacturer.
